Junior School
Welcome to St. Andrew’s, it is my pleasure to introduce you to the Junior School.
I have been in education for over 15 years, and have spent the past ten years working in Bedford’s independent sector. As an educator I believe that every child has the right to achieve the best they can. At school we must provide opportunities for each individual child to build upon their strengths, whilst continuing to develop their targeted areas.
At St. Andrew’s Junior School we believe in the fundamental building blocks of education, by ensuring that the traditional academic subjects are taught consistently throughout the school, enabling progression from year to year. By establishing these academic roots we are able to continue to enhance each pupil’s individual educational journey, thus enabling them to grow and blossom into a unique and confident independent learner.
As teachers we know that your child is the most precious person in your life. At St. Andrew’s Junior School we value the opportunity to teach each child, respecting them as an individual, supporting them along their learning journey and preparing them for the next educational stage.
